New Delhi: After Bollywood Biggies like Shah Rukh Khan and the Bachchans, Salman Khan is the next superstar to buy a house in the beautiful desert city Dubai.
According to an entertainment website, the ‘Dabangg’ star, who was shooting for his brother Sohail Khan’s ‘Mental’ in Dubai, was reportedly taking out time in between the shoots to look for a real estate property in the city, with his family.
“We are looking (for a house in Dubai); in fact we have been (looking) for a while. It’s just that we have been tied up this whole year. We would love to buy a pad in Dubai. It’s just two and a half hours from Mumbai anyway,” Sohail Khan said.
“It (investing in Dubai) has crossed our mind, we will just have to find the right place where we would like to invest, where we would like our home to be,” he further added.
Sohail also revealed that the decision to buy a house in Dubai was taken long back, even before they started shooting for their movie.
He said, “For years now, we have been property hunting. Whenever we come here we see something nice, but people tell us to wait since there’s always something better coming up.”
When asked whether Salman is planning to spend more time in Dubai, Sohail said that Mumbai is always going to be home for the Khan-daan and added that although the Khan siblings were born and raised in Mumbai, they would love to holiday often in Dubai.
Apart from Salman, Shah Rukh Khan has already purchased a house in posh Palm Jumeirah and the famous celebrity couple, Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan, has also recently purchased a lavish villa at the Sanctuary falls in Dubai.
Sallu’s love for Dubai is not hidden from all, as he had earlier stated to the reporters, “If I wasn’t living in Mumbai for work, then I would surely be living in Dubai.”
