Salman Khan vows to stay off booze for ten months

Mumbai: When it comes to his family, Salman Khan’s devotion knows no bounds. The actor, who is presently working on his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri’s ‘My Love Story’, has sworn off alcohol for ten months, till the movie is complete. And this is all to attain the six-pack muscular frame that the actor is required to flaunt in the movie. Already on the task, the actor has gone sober for the last 22 days. As per reports, Salman had put on a lot of weight for ‘Dabangg’, which required him to play a 45-year-old corrupt cop. That weight hadn’t been lost until recently. Confirming the news a source said, “Yes, Salman loves to drink, but he has now become very conscious after the stupendous success of ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Bigg Boss 4’. Abstaining from alcohol is not difficult for Salman. He has done this in the past. In fact every year, he goes off hard drinks during the holy month of Ramzan and Ganesh Chaturthi festival.” So as of now all the wild bachelor parties, that are so common in at his home in Galaxy apartments, are put on hold. And that’s not all. The actor is also very particular about his diet these days. “If he wants to get the six-pack in quick time, then an only no-alcohol policy will not help. He is completely off carbohydrates as well,” adds the source.
