Here's what Salman Khan has to say to NCW's notice

No apology from Salman Khan as he responds to NCW notice on 'raped woman' remark

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Salman Khan was slammed by a number of people for his 'raped woman' comment recently.

The actor drew flak for using 'rape' as an analogy to describe the physical agony he experienced while preparing for the wrestling scenes in his upcoming film 'Sultan'.

The NCW had slapped a notice against the 50-year-old actor and demanded a response from him. Khan, whose movie 'Sultan' is gearing up to hit the theaters on Eid this year, has finally responded to the commission. ANI quoted Lalitha Kumaramangalam, NCW chief as saying, "Have received Salman Khan's reply through his lawyer, he has not apologized, we are studying the reply."

In another report by India Today, it was mentioned that the actor has added to the whole discussion saying he did not trivialize 'rape' and has the maximum respect for women.

As per Vijaya Rahatkar, Maharashtra State Commision for Women, the actor has been summoned for an appearance on July 7 for the hearing.
