Sandra Bullock is great, says George Clooney

Los Angeles: Actor George Clooney only has words of praise for his friend and actress Sandra Bullock. He is happy that she has managed to stir up a buzz for an Oscar with her performance in ‘Gravity’.

"Isn`t she great," he said here at the AFI Film Festival premiere of ‘August: Osage County’ here recently. "I`ve known Sandy (Sandra) for - she doesn`t want me to say - over 25 years," he added. Clooney, 52, who is close to Bullock`s three-and-a-half-year-old son Louis, has stood by Bullock since their struggling days. He has seen her through her tough days, including her divorce from husband Jesse James in 2010. "She`s a really dear friend. So watching how this year has gone for her - and she`s had tough years before - has been great," he said.
