Sarah Jessica Parker advises Elton John on new baby
London: Pop icon Elton John had turned to `Sex And The City` star Sarah Jessica Parker for advise before the birth of his son earlier this week.
The 63-year-old and partner David Furnish recently welcomed Zachary, who was born through a surrogate mother, but they worried about the media attention.
John turned to Parker, who had her twin daughters through a surrogate, for advise, reported Daily Mail online.
The actress and husband Matthew Broderick talked to the gay couple on how to deal with the process, from the joy of the birth to the pitfalls caused by their celebrity status.
"Elton and David had become extremely interested in surrogacy by the time they spoke to Sarah and Matthew. Even so, they were able to give them an insight into how they coped with a high-profile surrogacy, both the ups and the downs," said a source close to the `Candle In The Wind` hitmaker.
So far, John has managed to keep secret the identities of both the surrogate mother and the separate egg donor.
Parker had also hoped to maintain the anonymity of their surrogate. However, a US tabloid revealed her to be Michelle Ross, a tattooed bisexual rock music fan, before the twins were even born.
