Scarlett Johansson’s mum ‘taught her to be good and not act like a diva’

London: Scarlett Johansson, who started her acting career at the age of 8, has revealed that her mother always stressed on good behaviour and advised her not to act like a diva.
The actress said that she tried to treat everyone fairly and never knock those who supported her. To her, serious diva behaviour just means someone who tramples all over ‘little people’ who are basically working their asses off for you. She also revealed that her mother who was her manager had taught her valuable lesson without ever telling her to do so. “My mum, Melanie, taught me to do things by telling me what she thought - without ever saying I should do the same,” the actress told The Sun. “For example, she never said: ‘Don``t do drugs’. I knew that she was disapproving of them and it just made me think: ‘Why would she be disapproving of this thing?’” she added. The actress who used to have lots of piercing and lots of them on her face admitted that her mother never ask her to ‘get them out’ and this approach has help helped her over the years. The ‘13 going on 30’ actress added that she was grateful to her mother for helping her survive any great hardship or tragedy. ANI
