Los Angeles: Singer-actress Selena Gomez has reportedly parted ways with her parents when it comes to managing her career. The 21-year-old `Come & Get It` hitmaker`s mother, Mandy Teefey, and her stepfather, Brian Teefey, are apparently no longer working as her managers.
"Gomez is currently looking at her options. Katy Perry`s manager Bradford Cobb is being considered as possible replacement for her parents," a source said.
The singer has argued with her parents on many occasions over the direction of her career and her on-and-off relationship with troubled star Justin Bieber.
But it is believed that family friction was not to be blame for their split.
Meanwhile, Mandy and Brian allegedly made it clear last month that they were unhappy about Gomez spending time with Bieber, who has had a number of run-ins with the law, as they believe he`s responsible for driving her to rehab in January.
The professional breakup news comes on the same day that Gomez left Miami after reuniting with Bieber.
