Mumbai: Just days after coming out in support of Bollywood film financer Karim Morani, Shah Rukh Khan took a u-turn today after he said that he has no professional terms or tie-ups whatsoever with Morani who has been accused in the 2G scam.
Interestingly, only yesterday Karim Morani's daughter Zoa, who debuts in SRK’s production ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’ said that Shah Rukh is their family’s most trusted friend.
Distancing himself from the controversy, SRK denied any links with the Moranis. He requested media not to drag him into the 2G storm.
The actor further added that Karim has been a friend but not his professional ally. Speaking to a news channel SRK said that Karim Morani has no stake or role to play in his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders.
SRK says that Morani has been close to many film stars.
"Morani family is a very good family and industry people share a very good relationship with Karim. The matter is currently sub-judice and the law will take it's own course. These people are in trouble today but things will be sorted out. Law enforcement people know better than us," Shah Rukh told reporters.
Further adding, SRK said that his personal equation with Karim Morani remains unchanged.
