New Delhi: Shweta Tiwari has opened up about motherhood and bringing up her daughter all by herself.
The `Kasautii Zindagii Kay` star told Parents India Magazine that she feels motherhood is a gratifying period in a woman`s life, which completes her, and added that her daughter, Palak, is the best gift she could ever receive from the Almighty. She stated that along with love and compassion, motherhood also brings in a lot of responsibilities for her, but as it is an active phase of her life, she is discovering something new every single day. The 33-year-old actress said that as she is a mother of a teenage girl, she understands how her mother felt when she was in that age, when she thought that her mother was controlling her moves, her dressing style, outings and every other thing. However, she claimed that she tries to be patient with her child and advised other mothers to don the hat of a role model in front of their children, to make them follow their footsteps. Tiwari added that she has always been a single parent, but neither her daughter nor she ever felt that she was bringing her up single-handedly.
