Mumbai: Sidharth Malhotra – one of Bollywood’s new kids, is gearing up for his latest – Brothers – a film that also features Akshay Kumar – Bollywood’s action superstar.
The charming young man, who made his grand debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of The Year’, has impressed one and all with his performances.
In his debut film, Sidharth came across a naive young student, who was all about to explore the various shades of life.
In his next film - Hasee Toh Phasee – Sid essayed the role of a struggling businessman, who is deeply committed to his girlfriend. The rom-com helped Sid do a role that was different from the first character he played.
But it was ‘Ek Villain’ that made Sid emerge as the new age “angry young man”. The film saw him essay an intense character and thus helped him evolve as an actor.
This Friday, Sidharth will sizzle on the siler screen as Monty Fernandes, estranged brother of David Fernandes, played by Akshay Kumar.
And the hunk has Karan Johar’s ‘Kapoor and Sons’ in the pipeline, where he will share screen space with Rishi Kapoor, Fawad Khan and Alia Bhatt.
