New Delhi: The Delhi-boy who made it big in Bollywood, Sidharth Malhotra still feels it`s too early to compare him with the industry biggies.
Sidharth`s latest release `Ek Villain` has fared well at the box office and is currently the talk of the town. But what helped this `Student Of The Year` play a character with grey shades in the film? The actor reportedly has credited none other than actor Shah Rukh Khan for it.
According to a daily, Sidharth revealed how he watched SRK`s `Baazigar`, `Anjam` and `Darr` multiple times to get hold of his character in `Ek Villain`. The 29-year-old actor feels that it is Shah Rukh who inspired him to play a dark role at the initial stage of his career.
The report also suggests that the `Hasee Toh Phasee` actor has dedicated his performance as a form of tribute to the king of romance. Sidharth is seen playing a brooding gangster in `Ek Villain`, and has received rave reviews from his peers in the industry.
