Sir Bob Geldof refuses to lecture daughters on their actions

London: Sir Bob Geldof has revealed that no matter what his daughters do or whatever scandal they are embroiled in, he still refuses to lecture them. Geldof, 59, had his patience tested when photos of his 22-year-old daughter Peaches, apparently involved in an orgy, sprawled naked across a car bonnet, emerged. “We are a party family. I don’t worry about my children’s future,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying. “I’m excited about the future. You get one shot and you can help to steer the future, which I enjoy. But you can’t if you stand outside constantly carping or commenting. “You must be pro-active. If the kids are or not I’m certainly not going to force them into a given direction. I don’t lecture,” he stated. But Geldof, who is also dad to Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Lily, his ex wife Paula Yates’s daughter with late INXS singer Michael Hutchence, keeps an eye on his brood’s antics online. “I watch how the four girls behave online. They will go on Facebook, see what’s happening and exchange photos,” he said at the SXSW festival in Texas. “One of them will download illegally, the other refuses and pays. So there’s that moral argument which is really good,” he added. ANI
