Mumbai: Megastar Shah Rukh Khan is set to join a coveted league of extraordinary personalities from across the globe.
Buzz has it that a website which features some best known celebs of the world would soon add to its list the man who’s called the Badshah of Bollywood.
The website named Whosay.com caters to only the elitist and reportedly, after SRK’s addition, the actor would become the first Indian to join special invite-only web service used by A-listers like Cristiano Ronaldo and Tom Hanks.
The special invites-only website allows famous personalities to syndicate their social media, providing them with one common platform to tweet, talk to fans on Facebook, etc. enabling celebs to connect better with their fans on various networks authorized by the website.
A source close to Shah Rukh explained, "Whosay is a VIP service for only famous people. If you are a popular personality you can contact the website for an invite. It gives celebrities new control over their presence on social media. When you see someone posting via Whosay, you`ll know that it`s authentic."
After Los Angeles, New York, and London when Whosay decided to launch themselves in India, they felt who better than King Khan could be the first Indian to start using their service.
The source further added, "Last month, Whosay invited him to use this platform. After his last film `My Name Is Khan’, Shah Rukh has become a global name. In addition to photo and video hosting, the services include automated copyright branding and a private mobile app allowing the social media updates to be easily controlled."
Apart from Tom Hanks and Cristiano Ronaldo other international celebrities actively using Whosay are Jim Carrey, Enrique Iglesias, Steve Martin, Kevin Spacey, John Cusack and Keith Urban.
