Chennai: Multi-talented Kamal Haasan, who turned 57 today thanked his fans for their love and conveyed his special message in Tamil through a video. The actor’s fan club posted an exclusive video of the superstar on Twitter that carried his message. Addressing his fans, Kamal said, “I am a superstar, I have name, fame and wealth and I am very happy with whatever I have achieved. But this glory will not last forever, for there is something bigger than what I am and have achieved. So I as an actor have struck stardom for sure but I have miles to go.” The actor feels that being a superstar is not important but to be a good human is what everyone should aim at. “The way one waters plants to keep them fresh and healthy, we actors too need constant appreciation and love from our fans and critics to keep us going. But again there is something far more superior and that is, to be humane.” Kamal has also initiated to keep the environment clean by starting a cleanliness drive. To create awareness among people about the importance of nature, Kamal said, “It would be nice if all of you could contribute your bit towards saving the earth by keeping the environment clean. If you could vow to do that, I would be grateful to you and consider it my birthday present. My heartfelt thanks to all of you, for your limitless love and appreciation.”
