The 46-year-old`s first step will be coming up with 300K dollars for the taxman, Stuff.co.nz reported. The actor admitted in Rockland County Court on Friday that he failed to pay New York state income taxes for 2008, 2009 and 2010. Under a plea bargain, Baldwin gets to stay out of jail- so that he can make some money - and can have his record wiped clean if he pays the taxes within a year. The star`s total bill in taxes, interest and penalties is 400K dollars but state Supreme Court Justice Charles Apotheker said that 100K dollars had already been paid. Baldwin said that he never intended to avoid paying tax es and got in trouble by trusting others. The actor, who is currently appearing on US TV screens in All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, also claimed that he believes he can meet the deadline. ANI
