Susan Boyle bombarded with crank calls from obsessed fan

London: Scottish singer Susan Boyle has been having a harrowing time with an obsessed fan bombarding her with crank calls all day and all night.

Boyle, 49, who sang for the Pope in Glasgow last week, has been pestered by calls from someone pretending to be her brother Gerry, 56.

But the singer is not the only one suffering, as workers at her record label SyCo have also been receiving calls from the person, who is looking for Simon Cowell.

“Susan is upset and worried. Her phone has been going at all times of the day and night. The voice on the other end claims he’s Gerry, but he clearly isn’t,” the Sun quoted a source as revealing.

“Susan is particularly concerned that this man also targets her pals.

“Record label staff have also had to fend off calls as he regularly tries to get through to Simon Cowell - but everyone is aware of his ruse,” added the source.
