Panaji: Actress Amrita Rao, who is one of the judges at `I Am She`, the official preliminary to Miss Universe 2010, says that it was Sushmita Sen who gave wings to every girl`s dream to be Miss Universe one day.
Sushmita`s Tantra Entertainment will select one girl to represent India for Miss Universe title, which is happening in December, this year.
As 30 beauties pulled out from 10,300 entries, entered the end of their grooming, the impeccable impression left on them by their mentor Sushmita refused to die down on the sets in Goa.
And it wasn`t only the contestants who were enamoured by former Miss Universe but contest`s judges were also bowled over by model-turned actress` charms.
"Sushmita is the most astonishing woman in the universe," Amrita said.
"Sixteen years back when crown came home, every girl wanted to be Miss Universe," Amrita said remembering the small time school pageants that were being held at the backdrop of Miss Universe.
Actress Koena Mitra, another judge, could not withhold herself from praising the style diva.
"Sushmita has been my idol. So many beautiful girls want to be her. She is the prettiest woman with unique mind and warm heart," Koena said.
Of the all, 20 will be selected for `I Am She` finals in Mumbai scheduled on May 28.
"What`s unique is that there are 30 unique individuals who does not believe in cloning each other. It`s important to maintain one`s individuality," Sushmita said.
Bollywood beauties including Amrita, Koena and Sandhya Mridul have judged the contestants for their beauty, talent, fitness, photogenic face, congenial behaviour and attitude.
