Mumbai: Sussanne and Hrithik`s split was a shock to many and both of them seem to have been deeply affected by it.

If the latest reports in a leading daily are anything to go by, then the lady has dropped 'Roshan' from her surname.

While Hrithik Roshan immersed himself in his upcoming project `Bang Bang` shoot and post production, his erstwhile ladylove too is doing everything to get over the separation.

Post their divorce, the grapevine had it that Sussanne had started her own interior design project with her friends including a multi-star project in Goa with Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan. She has taken up several things in hand to stay off the radar and has remained tight-lipped about her relationship with the Roshans.

The `Krrish` star on the other hand has come to her defence every time rumours about his ex wife have surfaced. She too has avoided the limelight but has been spotted at times with her old gal pals and with Mehr and Arjun Rampal.

Hrithik`s separation with his childhood sweetheart came as a shock to their fans but the two took to social media to clear their stance.

Sussanne had written, “We are two individuals who respect and care for each other and have made our own individual choices.”

“We are parents to two wonderful kids and our responsibility remains to protect and take care of them. Nothing can change that. "Thank you for your warmth and concern for both of us and the family,” Sussanne said.

It also seems that when it comes to their kids, the two are cordial with each other. A leading daily reported that the two have been seen to attend their kids` functions together even though they both arrived in separate cars.
