New Delhi:  Bollywood actress Tamannah Bhatia has joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan after she was nominated by TV personality Ram Kapoor on Twitter.

Bhatia came out with her family and friends to clean the back road of her residential area and urged people to join her in this cleanliness drive.

"Every Indian who lives here wants to see our country clean. I live in this area only and I wanted to clean my own area so I have come to the end of this road which is dirty from so many years. This is my first attempt to clean my own back road and I will be really happy if many more people join me in this attempt of mine," said Bhatia.

The 'Himmatwala' actress has joined the league of Bollywood actors who have shown their support to PM Modi's drive of nominating public figures to join the Clean India Movement.
