Taylor Lautner impresses girlfriend`s father Phil Collins

London: Taylor Lautner seems to be getting serious about his relationship with co-star Lily Collins as he recently met the actress` father, singer Phil Collins.

The `Twilight` hunk became close to his co-star while filming the thriller `Abduction` earlier this year and the on-screen couple later started dating in real life, Contactmusic reported. The 18-year-old actor has taken his relationship to next level as he had gained the approval of the 21-year-old actress` father after she arranged for their meeting. "He (Phil)`s pretty tough on the guys Lily introduces him to. Taylor was nervous about meeting him, but they got along well," a source said. Lautner previously dated country singer Taylor Swift but the couple split last year. PTI
