Bevery Hills, California: – The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is going to present animation master class ‘This Amazing Medium’ and a tour with Oscar winning animator Richard Williams on 4th of October The presentation will include clips from Disney and Warner Bros. movies and short films. It will also feature the master animator’s celebrated works. ‘Richard Williams: Master of Animation’ an exhibition on William’s work is also on in the Academy’s Grand Lobby Gallery. Twelve unique zones and matching chapters from Richard Williams`s new iPad App, show aspiring animators how to direct animation. It also brings to light how the animator advances the character movements, dialogues, etc. Richard Williams has won the Oscar Awards twice. First for the animated short film ‘A Christmas Carol’ in 1972 for Visual Effects. The second time he won the coveted award was for ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ in 1988.
