Sudhir began his career with the Illustrated Weekly of India, Mumbai, in 1982.

The talented cartoonist was born in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Tailang was awarded with Padma Shri in 2004 for his contribution as a cartoonist.

Sudhir published a book of cartoons titled 'No, Prime Minister'.

His last assignment was with the Asian Age.
