Twitter did not let Bipasha Basu use her husband’s surname – Here’s why

Mumbai: Bipasha Basu entered matrimony with Karan Singh Grover on April 30 this year and since then the Bengali beauty has been on cloud nine! Like all married women, Bipasha is keen to add her husband’s last name. But Twitter didn’t allow her to use her married name! Here’s why –

The pretty actress tried to change her Twitter handle from Bipasha Basu to Bipasha Basu Singh Grover. But Twitter didn’t allow her to make the changes she desired because it was too long!

”I tried changing on Twitter too but it said that the name was too long and didn’t accept it. I am also changing my name for films to Bipasha Basu Singh Grover (laughs). It’s a full sentence and I love it!,” DNA quoted Bips as saying.

Well, so what if Bipasha’s Twitter handle remains unchanged, we are sure the arrival of Mr. Grover in her life has ushered in infinite happiness.

Nonetheless, Instagram allowed her to add her husband’s last name.
