Washington: Usher wants to settle his bitter custody battle with ex-wife Tameka Raymond after his 11-year-old step son was pronounced brain dead on Monday, following a jet ski accident.
Sources close the couple have revealed that the 33-year-old spoke to his lawyers earlier this week. According to TMZ, he has asked them to construct a new proposal that will give Raymond ````a majority```` custody of their two sons, Usher Raymond V, four, and three-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond, Contactmusic reported The singer is also said to be raising his child support offer ````significantly```` after the 44-year-old stylist reportedly refused an offer from him, which stipulated a 50/50 share of custody and a very slight increase in child support. Although no offers are said to have been presented to Tameka yet, insiders believe that she is open to a ````reasonable settlement````. On the other hand even the star is said to have been left ````completely devastated```` and ````distraught```` following the jet ski incident of Kyle Glover. “Usher is completely devastated and shaken with what has occurred,” a source recently said. “[He] is emotionally drained from the accident. He feels incredibly awful, distraught ... it``s been a complete roller coaster of emotions,” the source added. ANI
