Apart from good looks, a huge fan base and an almost foolproof success rate at the box-office, Hrithik and SRK share something else…
Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan are best friends; they are perfect family men in B-town too. But guess what! There’s more than just popularity that this duo shares. While Hrithik has managed to play the perfect superhero in the `Krrish` series, Shah Rukh did try his hand at the superhero act. And, no, that is not what we are talking about. Listen to this: they both did it for their children! But now Hrithik has gone a step ahead of SRK to lure in a kiddie audience and become the perfect super-daddy! The actor recently launched the animated film Kid Krrish based on his feature film franchise; it will be premiered on Cartoon Network from October 2. That’s quite a treat, na? And even as everyone is smitten with B-town’s best looking superhero, Hrithik feels that the cartoon is better than him. “`Kid Krrish` can jump and do everything without any help. Both my kids have seen the first movie of `Kid Krrish` and they have fallen in love with it. So it`s already successful.”
The makers of the successful franchise are busy with the pre-release promotions of their long-anticipated `Krrish 3`. Rakesh Roshan said, “We made Kid Krrish only targeting children. So when they see the animated film and if it does well, we can continue this series as long as we can.”
This is the first time that an animated film is being made based on a feature film, and we think that Hrithik has managed to speed past the King Khan for now, at least as far as superhero acts are concerned. Now we wait to see how SRK will catch up.
