Ever since PM Narendra Modi asked every individual to contribute to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or the Clean India Campaign on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, celebrities from various fields have been doing their bit to keep the mission going. Amitabh Bachchan is the latest one to join the league.

Mumbai: Ever since PM Narendra Modi asked every individual to contribute to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or the Clean India Campaign on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, celebrities from various fields have been doing their bit to keep the mission going. Amitabh Bachchan is the latest one to join the league.

The megastar of Hindi cinema, decided to clean up the garbage that was dumped on a road before shooting for the grand finale of the latest season of his game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.

He tweeted:

A number of film personalities have contributed to the PM’s mission and the list includes Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and several others.

On October 2, PM Modi nominated 8 distinguished personalities from various fields and the cast of ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma’ to be part of the Clean Indian Campaign. He asked each of them to nominate 9 others to keep the chain moving.
