New Delhi: The newly-wed bride Rani Mukerji has been keeping busy in the past few days, all thanks to the promotional events for her upcoming release `Mardaani`.
The bengali beauty who is on the promotional spree across several cities in India, landed up in the state of Gujarat today for promoting her film. `Mardaani`, which literally means manly, revolves around a senior police inspector, played by Mukerji, who unearths human trafficking racket.
Rani decided to meet the Gujarat CM, Anandiben Patel, who is the first lady CM of the state. The two exchanged greetings at the Gujarat`s Secretariat in Gandhinagar.
According to reports, the 36 year-old actress discussed several issues regarding women with the CM, mostly concerning the safety and health of the women and ways to tackle them.
It seems that the `Mardaani` actor is quite impressed by Anandiben`s leadership skills and work. The versatile actress also praised the lady in question, reportedly.
The feeling was equally reciprocated by the humble lady, as she too praised Rani for her upcoming movie `Mardaani`.
Rani, it seems wants to leave no stone unturned for the success of her film. The bold and beautiful woman also made a stop at Gujarat`s Ambaji temple to seek the divine blessings. Amabaji is a popular deity and symbolizes the power of woman.
`Mardaani`, produced by YRF is set to release on August 22, this year.
