New Delhi: Deepika Padukone – who is basking in the glory of success of ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ – has not signed Bhushan Kumar`s tentatively titled film ‘Roy‘, in which she was paired opposite ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor.
The two young actors had set the screen ablaze with their chemistry in ‘Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani’ – which has gone on to collect more than Rs. 100 crores in its first week of release. But Deepika now needs a break from work.
“If I am letting go of a movie, there might be other reasons. If I really like a script, the producer and I can always work around the dates. I have taken up only as much work as I can accommodate,” DNA quoted Deepika as saying in a statement in Mumbai on Saturday.
The leggy lass is all praises for her family for being very supportive and wants to spend time with them now to make up to them.
“I always said they are my strength. They know that I am extremely busy and have no time to spend with them. But they have never complained...they understand,” she said.
The actress also admitted that owing to her film commitments she does not get time to be with her family. Therefore, she is now planning to take a break and enjoy the holiday with her father, mother and sister, Anisha.
