New Delhi: Ever wondered why TV and film production queen Ekta Kapoor is seen wearing the same kind of platform heels wherever she goes? And that too despite the fact that she can anyway invest in some expensive footwear – the kind worn by high profile celebs like her. Well, an online entertainment tabloid has caught Ms Kapoor’s fascination for the tacky footwear and has decoded the reason that keeps her hooked to the disastrous sandals. The online daily reveals that Ekta’s footwear (as seen in the picture) have been blessed by her astrologer, and given the fact that she is highly superstitious, she prefers sticking to the advice come what may. Ekta has stacked a good collection of the same kind of platform sandals in various designs in her shoe cabinet. Blessed footwear? Sounds absurd, isn’t it? Also, Ekta has been wearing off-shoulder gowns for a long while now, which makes us wonder whether that obsession too has to do something with astrology? Anyway, whatever it is, good for her.
