Wyclef Jean in no mood to give up presidential bid in Haiti
New York: Wyclef Jean has said that he is not giving up his presidential bid just yet and has decided to send a lawyer to a Haitian court to appeal a decision rejecting his candidacy.
In a recent interview from his home in Croix des Bouquets, the hip-hop singer has said that lawyers will go to a Haitian court Monday to appeal with the national electoral dispute office, reports the New York Daily News.
Jean said that he has a document "which shows everything is correct" and that he and his aides "feel that what is going on here has everything to do with Haitian politics."
The country`s elections board rejected Jean`s candidacy, presumably because he did not meet residency requirements.
