In a tight grey T-shirt that did justice to his flexing muscles, ‘uncle’ Aamir expressed satisfaction over his ‘nephew’ Imran’s ‘Jaane Tu..’ generating an overwhelming response at the Box Office in the first week. Spicezee: `Jaane Tu…` is doing exceptionally well at the BO. Did you expect it to do so well?

Aamir: It is really surprising for me. `Jaane Tu…` got a strong response. It got an opening which only Shah Rukh and Hrithik’s film get. Spicezee: How would you rate Genelia, the heroine of ‘Jaane Tu..’ as an actress? Aamir: She’s a superb actress she’s been a great hit back South and now I am certain that she would make it big in Bollywood too. Well, about rating, I give her an eight out of ten. Spicezee: Well, then how would you rate Imran? Aamir: (Mischieviously) He’s OK. Well, if I would have to rate him, I’ll give him a six on ten. Spicezee: So what about the Mr Perfectionist himself? How do you rate yourself? Aamir: Well, I am a little harsh on myself (Aamir laughs). I would give myself a five on ten. Spicezee: Aamir, you recently met Rakhi Sawant on her chat show? What did you like about her? Aamir: Rakhi’s a very nice girl. She is very entertaining, frank, spontaneous and outspoken and that is what I like about her. Spicezee: There were rumours that your wife Kiran Rao is starting a production house of her own. Is it true? What about your in-home rivalry? Aamir: Yes, Kiran has infact already started a production house. Spicezee: So what’s your take on it? Wouldn’t it lead to any in-house rivalry? Aamir: Not at all. Infact I am really happy for her and I wish her all the luck. I will definitely support her. There is no question of any kind of rivalry or competition. Spicezee: Aamir who is your lucky mascot - Reena or Kiran? Aamir: (After a long pause…) Both Kiran and Reena have been lucky for me. Reena is a wonderful person. I am lucky to have spent 16 years of my life with her. She has supported me through thick and thin. We shared a beautiful relationship. And, Kiran of course is a pillar of strength for me.
