Angelina Jolie designs jewellery for a cause

London: Jolie has teamed up with designer Robert Procop to create a jewellery line `The Protector` to help child victims of war and natural disasters.

The jewellery collection will be sold through the designer`s clients with all proceeds going to `Education Partnership for Children of Conflict`, a charity co-founded by the `Changeling` star, Contactmusic reported.

"These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place, to just be children," said the 35-year-old actress.

Jolie wore one of the pieces from the collection, a faceted black necklace set in rose gold, to the Berlin premiere of her film `Salt` earlier this year.

Robert, who has designed for the actress for a decade now, said, "Angelina has very classic style. These are pieces she wears herself."
