Melbourne: Chris Brown has reportedly given his former girlfriend Rihanna a ring studded with three emeralds to represent the pair’s time apart.

According to reports, the two singers sparked rumours recently that they have rekindled their romance, after splitting in 2009 when the 23-year-old rapper assaulted her. The ‘Run It’ hitmaker recently joined the 24-year-old singer on her yacht during a holiday, and it’s been said that he presented her with a special gift to show his commitment. “It was apparently really intense and emotional,” the Daily Telegraph quoted a source as telling UK Grazia magazine. “There was certainly kissing and some tears from Rihanna. By the end, Chris presented her with a ring set with three emeralds: one for each year they’d been apart. “Rihanna is so happy, it’s what she’s wanted for a long time. It’s her dream,” the source said. Although neither of the two have confirmed that their romance is back on, it is said that the ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker and Brown send each other messages on Twitter. And Rihanna is said to use the tag “1love” when she is referring to her former beau. “Neither of them cares who sees. They can’t seem to stay away from each other,” a source said. ANI
