Los Angeles: A man, who was allegedly insulted by John Galliano, has spoken out in defence of the designer, saying he doesn`t deserve to have his career destroyed.
Galliano was dismissed as creative director for couture house Christian Dior following allegations he hurled anti-Semitic abuse at two strangers in Paris last month. Philippe Virgitti, who filed a police complaint along with friend Geraldine Bloch, has dismissed the matter as a "simple bar dispute", reports aceshowbiz.com. "For me it was a simple bar dispute. John Galliano does not deserve this. I do not want him to be destroyed like this," he said. "I would like Mr Galliano to benefit from this unhappy story by drinking a little less and getting back to making the dresses and shows that he did so well." IANS
