New Delhi: Yepme.com, an online fashion portal for men, has launched its own apparel brand label, and showcased it’s first men’s apparel, footwear and accessories collection in a fashion show held in New Delhi.

Models dazzled in neatly detailed, streamlined, beautifully cut shirts and trousers for all occasions, as per the theme ‘Dress by occasion’. The look was further prepared with smart accessories, Swarovski embellished buttons in party wear collections, trendsetting footwear and smart casuals in myriad hues for the punk, as well as for the corporate gentlemen. Bollywood actors and models including Dino Morea, Rahul Dev, Rajneesh Duggal and Shawar Ali walked as the showstoppers on Friday and enthralled the audience with their alpha male oomph, wearing collection for each occasion. “The brand targets the fashion conscious ‘Alpha male’ constantly seeking peer appreciation. For that we have sorted out the collection by occasion. Like there is outdoor collection, casual collection, formal and party wear collection with the party shirts and shoes,” said Vivek Gaur, Yepme chief executive. “We have even set up virtual dressing room, which helps the buyers to try the various looks and shop dresses appropriate to their size,” he added. Gaur also discussed the reasons behind Yepme.com being launched into a brand, and retailing it’s own private label. “In e-commerce, there are hardly any margins. We were also doing generic e-commerce, and were also getting good revenues. But we found that there are no margins to be made in e-commerce,” Gaur said. “Then we decided to go onto creating space that sells our own branded apparels, accessories and footwears,” he added.
