James Bond inspired by fragrance to be launched

London: A scent inspired by the James Bond series, titled `James Bond 007`, is being released in September ahead of ‘Skyfall’, the 23rd movie in the British spy franchise.

The James Bond aftershave is inspired by the `60s and in addition to notes of apple and sandalwood, it will have a retro feel, reported Femalefirst.

Bill Brace, vice president of fashion brands for P&G Prestige, which is housing the fragrance, said "The aromatic feugere fragrance family came to prominence in the 60s - it was unmistakably masculine - mossy and ferny.

"But that was a while ago, so we wanted to move it on and give it a much more modern and sophisticated shell, which is why there`s fresh apple, cardamom, sandalwood and vetiver."

Although currently marketed for men, a women`s perfume may also be in the works.
