Kate Hudson to be Almay’s new face
New York: Kate Hudson has been roped in as the new face of cosmetics brand Almay.
The actress follows the likes of celebrity faces Leslie Bibb and Elaine Irwin Mellencamp, who have modelled for the brand.
Hudson, who will appear in TV and print ads for the label beginning in August, will celebrate her contract tonight at the Rainforest Fund benefit concert at Carnegie Hall.
Sting, Elton John, Mary J. Blige, Debbie Harry and Dame Shirley Bassey are among those expected to perform, reports the New York Post.
Sting and Trudie Styler launched the charity in 1989.
