Los Angeles: `30 Rock` star Alec Baldwin says his former wife Kim Basinger is one of the most beautiful women that ever lived.

Baldwin and Basinger, who were the most glamorous power-couples of the 90s, divorced in 2002 with a bitter court battle, particularly over their daughter Ireland, reported US magazine. "(Ireland`s) mother is obviously one of the most beautiful women that (has) ever lived even divorce doesn`t muddy my view of that. Kim is one of the most beautiful women that ever lived and even Ireland sees that," Baldwin said. The actor is now happily married to Hilaria Thomas, who is expecting their child. Baldwin feels Basinger, 59, serves as a perfect role model for Ireland as she negotiates the worlds of modeling and acting. "The good news is my daughter is someone who somewhat understands... It`s hard at that age to have that wisdom that beauty comes and goes," he added. PTI
