Kim Kardashian hopes perfume will stir up ‘memories’ among wearers
Washington: Kim Kardashian has hopes that her ‘intimate’ fragrance’, which she made by collecting and mixing the essences of all her family’s favourite flowers, would evoke ‘memories’ among its wearers.
“To me, fragrance is really intimate. I collect fragrances and when I spray a favourite scent it automatically takes me back to a certain time or memories from years ago, so I wanted to do the same for others,” a website quoted the 30-year-old reality star as telling a magazine.
“I wanted to take all of my favourite memories and put them in a bottle. So I took my dad’s favourite flower, which is gardenia, my mum’s favourite flower, which is tuberose, and mine, which is jasmine, and made sure they were the top notes in my scent,” she said.
Kardashian also suggested that the resulting fragrance is ‘light’ enough for daytime wearing, but suitably ‘voluptuous’ for the evening.
