London: Model Laura Zielinski has been unveiled as the newest face of M&S DD+ lingerie.
The Sunderland University law student, 20, who appeared at a photocall for the latest lingerie collection, won the public vote in a competition held by the store.
She has been signed to Leni’s Model Management, which has represented fellow M&S girls Noemie Lenoir and Natalie Suliman in the past.
Laura, who, at 5ft 9in, is Size 10 with a 32E chest, will model the store’s DD+ lingerie range, and is due to shoot her first campaign next month. Her image will appear on in-store adverts nationwide.
``I couldn’t believe it when I got the phone call,`` the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.
``I thought they were going to say ``well done but not this time.
``But they said: "Congratulations you have won!"
``I didn’t even believe them at first. Modelling is something I always wanted to do but I didn’t think I would get this kind of opportunity.
``I’ve done a few things in the North and I’ve been down to agencies in London, but I’m not the skinniest girl and with a big chest I’m just not what they are looking for.
``I’m hoping this will be my big break. M&S is an amazing brand to represent. It celebrates real women with real curves like mine,`` she added.
Frances Russell, Lingerie Trading Director at M&S said: ``She’s everything we look for in a girl, an amazing body and a great personality.
``We’re looking forward to working with her and can’t wait to see her featured in M&S stores.``
