Liz Hurley tumbles in sky-high heels at village fete

London: Liz Hurley fell victim to her sky-high heels as she took a tumble at a village fete in the Cotswolds in front of new cricketer boyfriend Shane Warne.

Hurley, accompanied by Warne, was opening the Ampney Crucis Village Fete near her home in Gloucestershire in front of hundreds of villagers when the incident happened, reports the Daily Mail.

Normally the epitome of elegance and poise, the model and actress was walking down some steps moments after cutting the ribbon to declare the fete open when her nude wedges got the better of her.

She lost her balance making a dive for the railings in a bid to stay upright and seemed to topple over on her left foot.

She did not appear to have hurt herself though as she was seen back on two feet within no time leafing through second hand books.

However, she did clutch Warne’s hand for the rest of the afternoon just in case she took another tumble.
