Madonna’s Material Girl clothing line now available in Britain

London: Madonna’s Material girl fashion range will be available online for British shoppers from September this year.German shopping group Otto has snapped up the exclusive European rights to the pop diva’s fashion range and plans to make its autumn collection available to shoppers in Britain and the continent through its online fashion stores, the Daily Express reported.

At the moment they are only available in the United States through the department store chain called Macy’s. Material Girl fast-fashion range is designed by the 53-year-old pop legend and her daughter Lourdes. The tops, jackets, skirts and jeans collection, are designed to have a “rock edge” and are aimed at 16- to 24-year-olds. The pieces are priced from 15 pounds to 100 pounds. The likes of ‘Gossip Girl’ star Taylor Momsen and Kelly Osbourne have promoted the range previously in the US. “Madonna and her daughter have created a fresh and fashionable collection. We are excited to be offering Material Girl exclusively,” Oliver Klinck, Otto vice president for ladies wear and menswear, said. Sports Direct has signed a deal that will see it manufacture and sell beachwear and accessories under license from Ocean Pacific, the Californian surf brand. ANI
