Paris: If fashion has an address it has to be Paris. France is where fashions starts from and Paris fashion Week is the celebration of all that is glamorous. The who`s who of fashion make sure of marking their calenders for these few days when the fashion world comes together to create magic on the ramp. This year is no different. The Autumn/Winter 2014-2015 ended with Miu Miu, Hermes and YDE. While Miu Miu`s collection highlighted vinyl trench coats and see-through ankle boots in bright colors; Hermes took inspiration from Eastern European traditional garments. The fashion giant, Chanel`s thought seems to be to touch everything in our urban grocery shopping lifestyle, complete with pop music in the background and freebies at the end of the show. Bubble gum pink coats, and quilted cropped jackets were few of the highlights. The collection from Alexander Mc Queen in its dramatic black and white colours in ethereal pale white make up with a touch of goth had its usual effect on the audience. The sharp contrasts and use of fur had winter depicted in its true spirit. Hussein Chalayan, who has carved a niche for himself as a conceptual designer showed his fun side with lightly layered garments in a grey, black, plum, and warm red colour palette. Apart from them there were many other designers who showcased their best of bests, like Elie Saab, Valentino, Issey Miyake, Givenchy, Galliano and many others. With the end of this edition of the fashion week, the anticipation for the hottest of trends for the next season is high. The temperatures have soared and with many more fashion weeks to come it will only keep rising.
