Pete Doherty creating jewellery for men
London: Singer Pete Doherty is creating his own range of jewellery.
The 31-year-old crooner has collaborated with former Cartier designer Hannah Martin to create `Albion Trinketry`, a luxury range of rings, chains, cufflinks and pins.
`Pete`s been obsessed with antiques and trinkets for years, so he thought this was perfect. He didn`t want to do anything tacky or laughable so he was chuffed when Hannah got on board,` dailystar.co.uk quoted a close friend of the Doherty as saying.
Another source added: `It`s really great, impressive stuff and I think Pete`s going to surprise people.`
A spokesperson for the collection also confirmed that Doherty is creating jewellery range.
He said: `Hannah`s interpretation of Peter`s ideas and her bespoke approach to design has ensure a collection that is both original and timeless. Each piece has a sense of regency and history yet also modernity reflecting the past whilst also giving a nod to the future.`
`Peter and Hannah`s designs encapsulate modern luxury. Their aim during the design process was to create collectables that will last the test of time and be handed down through the generations.`
