Rabani & Rakha pays tribute to beauty
New Delhi: A mix of Indian and western summer wear made with georgette and chiffon in shades of yellow and green forms the spring-summer collection of Delhi-based label Rabani & Rakha and the makers say it is a tribute to beauty.
"Every attire is an ode to beauty... We have used exquisite fabrics like chiffon and georgette to create vibrant and contemporary seductive attire," said Shibani of husband-wife duo Rahul and Shibani Rastogi, the designers behind the creative part of the label.
The collection has a variety of gowns, dresses and contemporary Indian wear. "The garments have various shades of yellow and green found in nature to bring in a sunny, zesty spirit. It creates an image full of warmth of the sun and the hues of the sea."
Gautam Rakha, who takes care of marketing, told reporters: "Our collection is a synthesis of cultures, fabric and styling. Rabani & Rakha own classy creations. Their magnificent design fuses modern silhouettes with rich detailing, resulting in contemporary clothing for a modern woman."
Rabani & Rakha was launched in 1999 by Shibani and Rahul and very soon Rakha also joined them. They have a store in Delhi in The Crescent mall and also have an outlet in Khar in Mumbai.
