New Delhi: Former beauty queen Sushmita Sen is hopeful that India will finally break its decade-long jinx at the Miss Universe 2011.
The actress, who bought the franchise for selecting the Miss Universe India last year, says preparations have begun for the "I Am She" contest.
"Hope you all r having a lovely day!!:) we at our end have been busy with preparations for`I AMshe 2011`.. it`s all so creative n exciting!! I sooooo want India to win `Miss Universe` again!! It`s a victory long due:)) I know u feel d same way!" Sushmita posted on her Twitter page.
The 35-year-old has asked her fans and interested candidates to suggest ideas for finding the right girl this time.
"All thoughts n ideas are welcome! Let`s as a team find that beautiful n intelligent representative from India to d world:) do u know who?:) Also guys, do visit our site.. Iam-she.com..all info provided there!!:) let`s win d Miss Universe..shall we;)) d eternal optimist:))cheers!," she added.
Sushmita was the first Indian to win the Miss Universe crown in 1994, after which Lara Dutta claimed the title in 2000. Both women went on to be successful actors in Bollywood.
