New York: Venus Williams has stoutly defended her fashion choices on the court.
Talking about her showstopper, racy black-lace corset dress that she wore at the French Open in May, the star told the New York Post, “[That dress is] very historical at this point.”
"I would do it the absolute same way. I was trying to do something fun that was still functional.
"There`s times where I`ve designed things and the back is just too low or the fabric was too hot or I`ve altered [a piece] to give it more support.
Nevertheless, "I don`t think I`ve worn anything that was so bad, it`s been like `ugh,` " she added.
