‘Visionary’ Lady Gaga lands 9th in Vanity Fair’s Establishment List

Washington: Lady Gaga ranks number 9 on Vanity Fair’s New Establishment list which notes people who are “an innovative new breed of buccaneering visionaries, engineering prodigies, and entrepreneurs”.

The 25-year-old singer has been named one of Vanity Fair magazine’s top 50 most innovative visionaries, becoming the highest ranked woman at number 9, making it her second consecutive appearance within the top 10, Contactmusic reported.

The first spot was reserved by Facebook.com founder mark Zuckerberg for the second year in a row, whereas co-founders of Google, Sergey Brin and Larry Page were placed second in the countdown.

The ‘Poker Face’ singer is the highest-placed female, ahead of Harry Potter author JK Rowling at number 16, becoming the youngest member to make it to the list.

Among other celebrities who featured among the top leaders include Judd Apatow at 20, Jay Z at 21, Mark Wahlberg at 29, Ashton Kutcher at 43 and Justin Timberlake at number 50.
