Bread upma

Try out this easy to make tasty upma.


10 Bread slices (remove the edges)
Onion - 1 finely chopped Onion
2 Green chillies
1 inch piece Ginger
a pinch Turmeric powder
3 tsp Oil
Salt to taste
½ tsp Mustard seeds - ½ tsp
½ tsp Urad dal -
½ tsp Channa dal


Heat a pan with 3 tsp of oil.
Then mix mustard seed.
When they start to splutter add urad dal and channa dal.
Then mix chopped onions.
Fry till it becomes transparent.
Mix ginger and green chillies.
Sauté for a min.
Mix salt and turmeric powder.
Stir well.
Add the bread pieces.
Mix well.
Serve warm.
