Recipe: Crunchy Vegetable Salad

Salads are not such a burden after all. They can be made interesting and delicious just by playing a bit with their ingredients. Try out our savoury salad recipe, smack your lips and say wow!

Ingredients:

100 gm cottage cheese cut in thin flat strips
½ cup sesame seeds
2 tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp red chilly flakes
1 tsp olive oil
2 tsp finely chopped iceberg lettuce
½ tomato chopped
½ onion chopped
½ tsp juice of ginger
2 tsp soaked groundnuts(skin removed)
2 tsp oil
2 tsp grated cheese

Procedure:

Sprinkle salt and half lemon juice and sesame over the cottage cheese strips and roast in oil on high flame till the seeds on the strips become brown. Now remove from fire and keep aside. In a bowl mix together all other ingredients well. Now add the crunchy cottage cheese pieces and serve immediately.
